Love places like this, the food is seasoned perfectly, the workers are friendly, and they can take a joke! Had a 3-piece fried chicken with mashed taters and separate side of fried okra. Chicken was perfection, taters were as expected, and okra was delicious! I saw another comment that said their prices were too high, but they were spreading false-hoods! Prices are spot-on!

Amazing food and service! The sweet lady at the counter invited my husband and I to the fair and told me about some things going on around town. I was visiting him while he works out of town. I will definitely be back for another poboy or some chicken! Thanks for the hospitality!
Yesterday was our first time visiting. We are from out of town and wanted to NOT eat at a fast food chain for lunch after our appointments. I will be back. I ordered chicken livers with a side of red beans and rice. The livers were cooked perfectly and the red beans were so good. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and fried okra and she enjoyed it also. The food came out as fast as I would expect for made to order items. They were all hot and fresh. Prices were reasonable and the lady taking our order was very nice. We were greeted like friends. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean. I’m very happy to have discovered this place and can’t wait to bring my husband here.
I did pickup. It was ready exactly when they said it would be. I love the fried catfish. It was not fried hard. The season was a little bit spicy but not too hot. I was able to eat it even though I have a sensitive mouth. I love their tarter sauce, which is really good, and I always get an extra one because it is so good. The catfish filets are very thick, which is my favorite. The sweet potato fries are wonderful, fried just right. They have great fried chicken also it is better than any I have ever eaten. Their Sweet Tea is so good you will want to get an extra one so you don't run out. I love this place so much that I wish I could eat from there every day. The employees are so nice and friendly. They make sure your order is right and hot and fresh every time. They make sure you have enough condiments you need. They always make sure to give me a drink holder so it is easy to get home without any spills.
I stopped in with my husband and mom for a quick lunch. They both ordered the chicken liver plate and I ordered the two-piece fish plate. Everything was fried well. The fish was good. My husband and mom said the livers were great! Our Bill was 20 and some change and you can't beat that price with the current food costs!! The young man that took our order was very polite and the food came out in about 7 to 10 minutes. Quiet laid back environment.
